RICHARDSON, Cecil
 Age 81 of Fairfield passed away June 4, 2023, at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born October 19, 1941, in Hamilton, the son of Melvin and Gracie (Plowman) Richardson. Cecil was married to Phylis Jean Henley in Fairfield, OH on August 16, 1980. He served his country in the US Navy from 1960 – 1970 during the Vietnam War and worked at Beckett Paper Company as a Precision Machine Operator until the closure of the company. Later in his years, he worked in the Fairfield City Schools as a Custodian, and became a mentor for many students and lived with his wife at Fairfield Senior Living.
Cecil is survived by his loving wife, Phylis Richardson; children, Elizabeth Grace Albert and Curtis Brian Richardson; grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Caldwell, Jacob Riley Albert; 3 great-grandchildren, Samantha Marie Border, Allie Grace Caldwell, and Zoie Nicole Romano; siblings, Katherine Harrison, Alfred Richardson (Pamela), Geraldine McIntosh (Jim); and many nieces . He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters and 6 brothers. 
The family would like to thank Joanna Mae Richardson, Gary and Karen Jones, Gordon and Glenda Haebl for all of their love and support.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. – until time of Funeral Services and Military Honors (7 p.m.), Friday, June 9, 2023, at the Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014 with Pastor Cecil Day officiating.
