Charles H. Jr. – age 70 of Fairfield Township, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016. He was born May 16,1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles Sr. and Emma Lou Rutledge (nee Hall).
Charles was a veteran of the United States Army and retired officer with the Cincinnati Police Department.
He is survived by his wife Anna Rutledge (nee Atwell); his children Kelly Fanta, Jaime Parker, Bradley (Jackie) Rutledge, Joshua (Sarah) Gelter and Amanda Sullivan; grandchildren Taylor, Austin, Tanner, Joey, Annabelle, Matthew and Kara; sister Charlene (Michael) Burke; also survived by numerous family, friends and neighbors. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Sherilyn Rutledge (nee Swanson) who preceded him in death in 2005, and his sister Margaret.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2-6PM at the F.O.P. Event Center at Joyce Park, 180 Joe Nuxhall Way, Hamilton, OH 45015. Memorial contributions may be sent to either the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Cincinnati.
