Christopher Skye Anderson

     On Tuesday, January 3, 2023, a kind and loving son, brother, and grandson, Christopher ‘Skye’ Farnsworth Anderson, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away at age twenty-four.

     Skye was very invested in and close with his family. He was always kind and would go out of his way to make sure they were happy. He would do anything for them.  He was a wonderful son and big brother to all of his siblings. For the last few years of his life, he enjoyed catering to his youngest sister Aurora and spent a lot of time playing with her and taking her on walks. Skye was also very talented at soldering and fixing various electronic and household items which he enjoyed doing in his spare time. He enjoyed taking long walks alone especially in nature.  He had a gentle soul and wouldn’t even hurt a fly. He would catch them and set them free. It’s just who he was.

     Unfortunately, he suffered from debilitating ‘invisible’ chronic illness since childhood and his mental health suffered severely. Despite all the years of everything that was done to try to alleviate his suffering, nothing could. He felt the only way was to end his life, which he did.

     He is survived by his mom and dad Katherine and Chris Anderson, his brother, Ocean, his sisters Autumn, Summer and Aurora, his grandparents Stella Farnsworth, Pamela and Charles Anderson, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He is loved and missed, more than words can express. Their hearts are broken at the loss of such a loving, kind, gentle and giving soul. He was truly one of a kind.

     Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that you do a good deed to honor Skye and spread kindness to help make the world a better place. Please be compassionate towards those suffering from chronic illnesses, visible or not, physical and mental.  They need understanding and support. This is what he would have wanted.
