Corey James Adams

Corey James Adams – Age 36 of Hamilton, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024.  He was born September 3, 1988 in Hamilton, the son of Shane Adams and Deborah Hogan.  On October 30, 2021 in Middletown, Ohio Corey married Logan Smallwood.  Corey and Logan have been inseparable for 10 years and married for three wonderful years. The story began with classic love at first site and carried them through every hardship and test. They never started or ended a day without telling each other “I love you” and they never stopped choosing each other or the family they created. He will be remembered as a loving husband and devoted father. Corey was passionate about tattoos and art, he was an extremely gifted artist, and his artwork will live on through his family, friends, and many clients.  Everyone who knew Corey knew how much he loved cars, music, and fishing. Corey will always be remembered for his tremendous artistic ability, his love for his family and friends and his compassion for everyone he met.  Corey is survived by his wife Logan; sons Chevy Adams and Oliver; mother Deborah (Tracy) Cochran; father Shane Adams; sisters Tiffanie Adams, Elizabeth (Kyle) Bishop and Ashley (Rich) Kammer; grandmother Loretta Pittman; Aunt Angie, uncle Stephen, uncle Chris, aunt Andrea, 6 nephews and many cousins all who adored him; dear friends Mark Inman, James Robertson and countless others especially in the tattoo world. Also survived by numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Garrett “Gomer” Pittman.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2–7 PM at the 7670 Event Center, 4021 Trenton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011.  Sharing of stories and memories of Corey to begin at 3PM.
