Debra Dean Obituary

Debra J. Dean – 67 of New Richmond, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Locust Ridge Health Care.  She was born October 24, 1954, at the Naval Hospital in Newport, Rhode Island, a daughter of the late Jack M. Day and survived by her mother Martha “Jane” Patterson.  She attended Middletown High School.  She moved to Florida in 1981 and went to work as a construction secretary for Natkin Mechanical Company at Walt Disney Worlds EPCOT Center, where she met the love of her life, Randy Dean.  They were married November 27, 1982, in Winter Park, Florida.  They built a wonderful life together filled with lots of love and laughter.  When she moved back to Ohio, she worked as a church secretary for Holy Cross and Trinity Lutheran churches.  In addition to her father Jack, Debbie was preceded in death by a son Eric Halsey and a brother Greg Day.  Debbie enjoyed playing cards and board games.  She played to win.  Her dog Sam was very special to her.  Debbie is survived by her husband of 39 years, Randy, and her nieces and nephews.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1553 Kinney Ave., Cincinnati, OH, 45231.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queen City Hospice, 4605 Duke Dr., Suite 220, Mason, OH, 45040 or Trinity Lutheran Church.  www.avancefuneralhome.com
