Donald Albert Gentry

Donald Albert Gentry – age 88 of Hamilton, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023.  He was born November 29, 1934 in Hamilton, the son of the late Albert and Violet Gentry (nee Boatwright).  Donald was a veteran of the US Army and later employed by the City of Hamilton retiring in 1995.  He is survived by his children Tracey Binns, Tammy Kisner-Gentry and Chet Gentry; grandchildren Amber, Mallory, Kelsey, Nitosha, Butch, and Cody; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 nieces; step children Kathy Kollstedt, Mary Higgins, David Bowman, Becky Pritchett and Jeff Stitzel; also survived by numerous family, friends, and his extended Barbeque Competition Community to which he very much enjoyed participating in.  He is preceded in death by his parents and his two sisters, Faye Catherine (Don) Yeakle and Beatrice (George) Crosby.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 1-3 PM at the Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 801 Park Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio, 45013.
