Dorothea "Dottie" Mae (Schaub) Henz

Dorothea “Dottie” M. (nee Schaub) – age 88 of Fairfield went to be with her heavenly Lord Wednesday, January 16, 2019.  She was born December 27, 1930 in Dayton, OH to the late Henry and Marie Schaub (nee Keim). On May 17, 1952 she married John J. “Jack” Henz in Dayton, Ohio. They moved to Fairfield several years later. Dottie was a Fairfield resident for 66 years. Dottie was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfield.  Dottie was an excellent typist and she worked as a secretary and telemarketer for years.  She considered her most important job to be raising her four grateful children.  She is survived by her three loving sons Michael  Henz, Gary  Henz, Jack (Sheree) Henz and devoted daughter Sherri (Jim Sparks) Davis; 13 wonderful grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, family and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband Jack and her dear sisters Margaret, Helen, Henrietta and Gloria.   Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014 with visitation from 10AM until time of Mass.  Burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Hamilton.  Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Southwest Ohio, 7625 Camargo Rd., Cincinnati, OH, 45243.
