Edward Johnson, Jr

Edward Johnson Jr., age 80, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Community Multicare Center of Fairfield. He was born June 28, 1925 in Cincinnati to Edward and Myrtle (Lowe) Johnson. They both preceded him in death. He was the beloved father of Kimberly (Mark) Pflum of Cincinnati and Karen D. (David) Robertson of Fairfield, Jacqueline (William) Hill of Dillsboro, IN and Steven Johnson of Vevay, IN. He was blessed with numerous grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Wanda Skinner and brothers Fred and Raymond Johnson.

Ed served with the United States Navy in the South Pacific from 1943-46 during WWII. He was a lifetime member of Amvets Post #71, Fairfield, Ohio and VFW Post #1069.

Visitation will be held Saturday Jan. 7, 2006 at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield from 11 am until noon. Funeral service will immediately follow. Burial will follow thereafter at Greenwood Cemetery.
