Herman "Gary" Norton

NORTON
Herman "Gary", age 71 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday February 14, 2012 at Mercy Hospital Fairfield. He was born April 19, 1940 in Dry Ridge, KY, the son of Herman W. and Opal (nee Lanter) Norton-Gruen. On January 25, 1990, Gary married Sis Gex in Boone, KY.
He retired from General Electric after 37 years of service and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Dry Ridge No. 849 F.& A. M., the Order of Kentucky Colonels, and Dry Ridge Christian Church.
Gary leaves behind his loving wife, Sis Norton; children Steven Gary (Keena) Norton and LeAnn T. (Shane) Norton-Ramey; and grandchildren Breanna Ramey, Hunter Kinney and Dylan Norton. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Barbara Cruickshank; and step-father, Joseph J. Gruen.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014. Funeral services will begin at 7 p.m. with Elder Pete Howell officiating.
Memorial contributions in Gary's name may be given to Mended Hearts Mercy Hospital Fairfield, 3000 Mack Rd. Fairfield, OH 45014.
