Jacob Gill

Jacob Caleb Gill May 19, 1974 – May 20, 2020 Jacob Gill, beloved son of Joy McIntosh and Steven Gill went to his Lord Jesus Christ's side on May 20, 2020. A resident of Hamilton, Ohio, Jacob was known as Jake to his many friends and family. Jacob was the proud father of daughter Haley Rose Ferris.

Jake graduated from Ross High School and attended the University of Cincinnati. He loved basketball, soccer, swimming, outdoor activities, attending concerts and helping people. He enjoyed driving for his former employer, Flagg Industries of Fairfield. Jake also volunteered at the 1213 Club in Hamilton and shared his devotion to Jesus Christ with many people throughout the community. He took devoted care of his cat, Buddy.

Jacob is survived by his adoring mother Joy McIntosh; brothers, Nathan (Monica) Gill and Chancelor Matthiesen; aunt, Darlene (Donald) Hancock; uncles, Donald Garrett, David Garrett and Brad Gill; and his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends in his life. Jacob was preceded in death by his father, Steven Gill; grandparents, Leora and Robert Gill, Nancy Garrett and Floyd Lauderback; aunt, Rolene Lauderback Michaels; and uncle, Roland Lauderback.

A memorial service will be held on Friday June 19, 2020 starting at 6 PM at the Hamilton Dream Center, 725 Campbell Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Pastor Wendell Coning will be officiating. The family would like to thank the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory for their compassionate and professional services.
