Jeanne (Withrow) Barger

Jeanne (nee Withrow) Barger Age 96 of Hamilton Ohio passed away Sunday May 4th 2025.  She was born in Hamilton Ohio on September 4th 1928. The daughter of Ernest and Elsie (Miller) Withrow. Jeanne graduated from Hanover High School in 1947.  She married George Connelly in 1949.  Jeanne worked at Champion Papers for 40 years. Starting in the canteen at the mill and advancing to customer service at the Knightsbridge Office. However, her biggest honor was being crowned Lady Champion in 1948.  Jeanne married Kenneth Barger in 1977.  They enjoyed going to the horse races, she also loved spending time with her family, going on cruises with her sister, watching the Cincinnati Reds, and she also enjoyed playing pitch.  After retiring from Champion she led the seniors’ aerobics class at the Champion Fitness Center. She is proceeded in death by her brothers, Bill (Katie) Withrow, Myrle (Dottie) Withrow, Dick (Jane) Withrow, Eldon Withrow and surviving wife Faye, Glen (Lois) Withrow, and sister Lucille (Leonard)Osso.  She is survived by her son Gary Connelly, Daughter Connie (Keith) Horner, Daughter Carrie(Tony) Tucci, and son Scott (April) Barger.  Also 5 Grandchildren Corey Barger, Tyler Tackett, Kayla Connelly, Alex Barger, and Jackson Tucci.  And 1 Great grandchild Garrett Tackett.  Visitations will be 10 am until time of service (11am), Friday May 9, 2025, at Avance Funeral Home & Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd.
