Joan Carroll Rosenberg, resident of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, September 25, in her home, surrounded by her adoring family.
Born in 1935 in Saskatchewan, Canada, Joan came to the United States to attend Central Bible College in 1954, in Springfield, Missouri. There she met her lifetime husband of 64 years, beginning a partnership of ministry in the Assemblies of God that would continue throughout her life. Joan was an accomplished singer, pianist, choir director, Sunday school teacher and a licensed minister of the Assemblies of God. Her gracious and generous spirit provided brought joy and comfort to everyone she encountered. She shared a great heart for missions.
Joan is survived by her husband, Hugh Rosenbeg, daughter Renee Carlson (Randy), daughter Ronda Gabbard (Clinton), son Bradley Rosenberg (Angie), nine grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 27, from 5-8pm at Tri-County Assembly of God, 7350 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, at 11am, also at Tri-County Assembly. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Glendale, Ohio will follow the funeral service.
