John Urbassik

John – age 84 of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021.  John was born March 29, 1937, in Dunlo, PA to the late John and Frances Urbassik (nee Mikoch).  On October 29, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio he married Pauline Sanson.  John worked for many years for General Electric in Sharonville retiring in 1999.  He is survived by his wife Pauline; daughters Brenda Gilbert, Diana Urbassik, Michelle Meyer and Lysia Reinhart; brother Stevie Urbassik and sister Kitty Billick; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; also survived by the son he never had, Ray Asher, and numerous family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his daughter Paula and granddaughter Melissa.  Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10 AM – 12 PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014 with a prayer service beginning at 10:30 AM led by Fr.
