Johnny Luckadoo Obituary

Johnny Ray Luckadoo Sr., of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away suddenly in the company of loved ones on February 5, 2023, at the age of 60.

Born on August 14th 1962, he spent his younger years chasing adventure by bus and thumb. As he grew older, he chased adventure – and Big Foot – through YouTube and Google Maps. To his wife and children Johnny left his love of music, fishing, and the Bengals. His family will remember him as a nature lover who enjoyed bird watching, camping, gardening, and hunting. He also enjoyed playing the guitar, professional wrestling, camping, guns, tattoos, motorcycles, throwing darts, and shopping on Amazon.

Johnny and Keola were married on February 15, 1991, blending their two families together before adding two more children. He worked as a thermal processor for 20 years. Through those years, he acquired many lifelong friendships. Johnny valued his relationships with family, friends, and his pets over all else. He was loyal, honest, and insightful.

He is deeply missed by his wife Keola Luckadoo, and children Johnny (Amanda) Luckadoo Jr., Gregory R. McMullin Jr., Brian Banes, Kealoha (Adam) Maffey, Lakota (Tyler) Luckadoo, and Deana (Charles) Burkhardt. He also leaves behind his sisters Anna (Bat) Masterson, Toni (Tracy) Wise, Sandy (Bruce) Pierson, his 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 8 nieces and nephews.

Johnny has been reunited with his beloved grandparents, Harvey and Thelma Dinkins, parents, Basil “Lee” and Dolores Luckadoo, brother, Hardrick Willis, and nephew, Charles “J.R.” Pierson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association local chapter.
