Joseph E. Stanton

Joseph Earl Stanton – age 76 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023.  He was born July 3, 1946 in Richmond, Indiana, the son of the late Joseph Earl and Ruth Jane Stanton (Basham).  On August 14, 1970 he married Ruth Grathwohl.  Joseph is survived by his wife Ruth; sister Sandra Moore; nieces Ruth (Chris) Gingry and Sue (David) Wooley; also survived by numerous family and friends.  Joseph was preceded in death by his stepfather Maurice Shepler.  Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 5–7PM at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH, 45014.  Funeral service will be Saturday morning at 10AM at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Finfrock officiating.  Burial to follow at Butler County Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Hamilton or the charity of one’s choosing.  Online condolences may be left by visiting www.avancefuneralhome.com
