Karen Mae Mason
October 26, 1948 — November 16, 2011
Karen Mae (nee Kemp), beloved wife of Glenn Mason, devoted mother of Jennifer (Rick) Marshall and Melissa (Mike) Carras, loving grandmother of Jacob and Morgan Howard, Gunnar and Samantha Marshall, Camryn and Chloe Mae Carras, sister of Charles (Janice) Kemp, Connie (George) Schul and Kathie Kemp passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the age of 63. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruby Kemp.
She was a lifelong resident of Fairfield who was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church for 48 years. Karen loved traveling, reading, music and enjoyed singing in the choir.
Visitation will be Monday November 21, 2011 from 12-2 p.m.at The Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd. Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Tammy Jo Reiser, officiating.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her memory to the ALS Association of Southwest Ohio, 1170 Old Henderson Rd. Suite 221, Columbus, OH 43220.
