Katherine, age 58, of Fairfield passed away on May 22, 2017. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Arthur and Carmella (nee Zarini) Sarlo. Kathy was employed by Procter and Gamble as a Senior Scientist for 28 years.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Christopher G. Schleifer; much loved brother, Arthur (Laureen) Sarlo; dear nephews and niece, Anthony (Lisa) Sarlo, Ryan Sarlo, and Crystal Potter; great nephew, Tyson. Kathy is also survived by her brothers in law, John Schleifer, Robert Schleifer, and Michael Schleifer; sisters in law, Sister Mary Madeline, Paula Potter, Nancy Klingensmith and Bettie Smith.
Visitation will be Friday May 26, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield 45014. Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.avancefuneralhome.com
