Mary (Rich) Huber

Mary Huber (nee Rich), age 86, of Fairfield, Ohio, died November 14, 2022. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 24, 1935, to Bertha (Miller) and Arthur Rich. She attended St. Ann Grade School and graduated in 1953 from Notre Dame High School. After graduation, she worked as a secretary and office manager at various manufacturing businesses in the Hamilton/Fairfield area.

She married Herbert Huber on July 20, 1957, at St. Ann Catholic Church and they celebrated 65 years of marriage. Mary enjoyed playing cards and games with her family and friends, and notably hosting with her husband an annual 4th of July picnic for 50 years.

Mary is survived by her husband, Herb, her sons Brian (Anita) and Steve (Martha) Huber, daughters Lisa (Joe) Willig, Karen (Jason) Pohl, ten grandchildren Jasen and David (Amber) Huber, Maria and Michelle Huber, Jessica, Jackson, Erin and Elaina Mills, Mia and Gianna Pohl, and three great grandchildren Harper, Rozalyn and Ellie Huber, her brothers Joseph (Leah) Rich and Michael (Molly) Rich, and sisters-in-law Nancy (Huber) Boicheff, Ann Toerner Rich, and Elizabeth Rich.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Richard, James, Jerome and sister Margie French, brothers-in-law Raymond French, Robert (Delaine) Huber, Richard Boicheff and sisters-in-law Ramona Rich and Helen Rich, infant grandson Marc Mills, and mother and father-in-law Herman and Olga (Berk) Huber.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Avance Funeral Home Fairfield. A funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 400 Nilles Road, Fairfield on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 4020 Pleasant Avenue, and 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life luncheon at Fairfield Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Drive, Fairfield.
