Age 80 of Forest Park formerly of Bradenton, FL went to be with her Lord on January 30, 2009 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born April 30, 1928 in Appalchia, VA, the daughter of John and Ada (Adams) Carberry. She was married to James H. Crawford and Bernie Knight prior to their deaths. Ruth was a member of the Tabernacle Church of God in Bradenton, FL, pastored by Brother Barlow.
She leaves behind, Dannie (Kathy) Crawford, Linda Gilbert, Jimmy Crawford, Constance Haney, Schiela Hagan, Victoria (Mack) Caudill, Darlene Crawford (Anthony Smith), Edna (Ronnie) Hill, Betty Jo (Tommy) Crost, Bennie (Janean) Knight, Billy (Lisa) Knight, Johnny (Mary) Knight, and Bobby (Connie) Knight; siblings, Helen Spicer, Jean (Roy) Brooks, Virginia Myers, Jack (Nancy) Carberry, and Johnny (Marge) Carberry; 29 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and family and friends, especially Dale Haney. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; daughter, Diane Parish; sisters, Nell Crawford and Shirley Lynch; and brother, Billy Carberry.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Meadows of Forest Park, Mercy Hospital of Fairfield and Hospice of Hamilton for their loving care.
