Lidel, M. Lynn
Age 71, departed for her heavenly home on Wednesday December 29, 2021. Lynn was born on January 10th, 1950, to the late George and Mary Julia Miller in Keokuk, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Ron Hinman. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years Doug Lidel, her brother George (Liz) Miller, brother-in-law Craig Lidel, sister Julie Hinman, sister-in-law Marcie (Tom) Hoffman, her son and daughter-in-law Chris Lidel and Erin Ritchie, grandchildren Caeleigh and Declan Lidel, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She lived a creative and adventurous life working as a commercial artist, exploring the world with the love of her life in the Air Force and being a devoted mother who enjoyed relearning about the world through her son’s eyes. She was curious about everything, and believed that if something was worth doing, it was worth doing right. Lynn was an artist both at home and professionally creating jewelry, decorations, and anything she put her mind to. She had a soft spot for animals. She loved dogs, horses, pandas, and anything furry but none more than her cats. Perhaps her greatest joy was her grandchildren who she loved to play with, teach, and swim with in her pool. Above all she wanted her friends and family to take time and experience life’s joys as she did for 71 years. There will be a celebration of her life at Avance funeral home 4976 Winton Road Fairfield, Ohio 45014 on Monday January 10th. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 pm for friends and family with a service immediately following.
