HASSLER

Norma Jean, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born September 4, 1933 in Letcher County, KY to the late Garland and Esba Everidge. Norma married Donald Hassler on September 1, 1956. She retired from Fairfield City Schools and was involved in many organizations.

Norma leaves to cherish her memory; her husband Don; three children, Debi Hassler (Sparks), Randy (Lisa) ,Gary (Melanie); four grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Jordan (Kelsey), and Brittany (Perry) Schindler; also, three wonderful great grandchildren that she adored. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Taulbee, Sheila Martin, and Brenda (Darrell) Gabbard.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; and brother in law, Tommy Taulbee.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 1-5 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield 45014. Funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. at the funeral home with Rob Rosenbalm officiating. Private burial service for the family on Monday.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mercy Health of Fairfield, Fourth Tower; Jamestowne Therapy; and Hospice of Hamilton for their extraordinary care.
