Richard Gregg, age 85, of Harrison passed away on July 13, 2016 at home. He was born on May 8, 1931 in Bridgetown, Ohio to Jacob and Mary Louise (nee Gregg) Frankenstein.
In 1952 he married the love of his life Phyllis Warner; to this union they were blessed with the birth of Gregg (Joyce) Frankenstein and the late Cindy Taphorn. Richard is also survived by his grandchildren, Darle Frankenstein, Stefanie Frankenstein, and Jacob Aufdenkamp; great grandson, Jacob Frankenstein; and son in law Tony Taphorn. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Yvonne Elliott and Jackie Frankenstein; and brother in law, John Warner
He is a Marine Veteran having served his country in the Korean Conflict. Richard loved planting things, he was a lifelong horticulturist; and for many years he had a landscaping business.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday July 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Rd., Mt. Healthy, Ohio 45231. Memorial contributions may be given to Leukemia Lymphoma Society, 4370 Glendale Milford Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45242
