Rita M. (Mays) Penny

Rita M. (nee Mays) Penny, beloved wife of James Richard Penny “Jim” for 52 years, dear mother of Crystal (Butch) Parks of West Chester, Randall (Dawnalyn), Robert (Joan), Sandra (Titus) Pel, all of Cincinnati, died at Hillandale of West Chester on September 14, 2022, at the age of 88. She leaves 11 grandchildren: Tiffany, Wende, Amber, Jamie Lynn, Courtney, Jenna, Randi Ellen, Jessie, J.T., Jeshua, and Marisa, 20 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Nettie Waits of Greenbush, Ohio, as well as her sisters Opal Bingaman, and Phyllis Ritt. Rita was a devoted bus driver for Greenhills-Forest Park school district, and an active member of Northern Hills Christian Church for over 50 years. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17 from 10-11AM, followed by funeral services at 11AM, at Northern Hills Christian Church, 9470 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial to immediately follow at Mt. Orab Cemetery in Mt. Orab, Ohio.
