Stella Eaton

EATON

(nee Rucker) Stella ,age 96, of Fairfield, Ohio died peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October 27, 2019.  She was born and raised in Etowah, TN to Joseph and Ella Rucker (Gurley) on October 22, 1923.  Stella and her husband Roy moved to Ohio with their two sons, Wendol and Mendol.  She loved her family and more importantly she loved the Lord. 

Stella is preceded in death by her husband Roy, her son, Mendol Eaton, daughter in law Linda Eaton (Morris), grandsons Mendol Eaton, Timothy Eaton and his wife Terri Eaton (Crist), her siblings Walter, Spencer, Nora, Mellie, Beulah, and her twin sister Della.  Stella is survived by her son Wendol (Nancy) Eaton; grandchildren Lisa (Gene) Lockwood, Kathy Burns, Jennifer (Randy) Rasnick, April (Dan) DeWitt, Tyler Eaton, and Kristi Roetenberger. 17 great grandchildren Renee (Jimmie) Rutherford, Josh Eaton, Kaylee (Katia) Rogers, Chelsea Eaton, Alyssa Eaton, Crista (Jefferey) Martin, Timmy Eaton, Jessalyn Welty, Taylor Kissick, Dylan Welty, Kaitlyn Kissick, Micah DeWitt, Isaiah DeWitt, Josiah DeWitt, Addilynn DeWitt, Levi Eaton and Noah Eaton.  8 great-great grandchildren Caitla Rutherford, Makenna Wurzelbacher, Trevon Rutherford, Brenden Wurzelbacher, Jonathan Rutherford, Ellie Eaton, Rowan Marshall, and Luca Welty.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 31, 2019 from 5-7 p.m. at the Avance Funeral Home and Crematory, 4976 Winton Rd., Fairfield, 45014.  Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Rosenbalm officiating.    Graveside services will be Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Conasauga Baptist Church Cemetery, Etowah, TN, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan DeWitt officiating.
