William Trenton Slack
Trent Slack, 73 passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was born on July 17, 1947 to William H. Slack & Frances (Nees) Slack in Sunbury, OH. 
Trent, was a graduate of Mentor HS and attended Kent State University. He enlisted in the United States Navy and honorably served his country from 1965-1971. He was a radar technician on the U.S.S. Tripoli. In 1967 the ship was deployed into the Vietnam War. Trent earned several Service Medals and Commendations during his service in the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of AMVETS.
After the service, he worked for many years with Mosler Safe Company, then onto the Communications industry. He became the National Sales Manager for Mobile Desk and enjoyed working on the team for 16 years though his retirement in 2019.
Trent enjoyed the simple things in life like grilling in the great outdoors. He loved a great meal, movies and football.
He is survived by his wife, Roxanna, of 31 years; children, Daniel Slack, David Slack, Michelle Castro, Eric Slack, Vincent Curiale, Trisha (Mark) Grisko; grandchildren, Trenton Slack, James Waite, Nathan Castro, Carmen Castro, Colin LaFaye; sisters, Susan Horn, Nancy Slack, Roseann Slack. Trent was preceded in death by his parents and dear brother, Robert Slack.
The presence of Family and friends at a memorial service is supportive and healing.  While social distancing may restrict our ability to attend in person, virtual services offer us the opportunity to honor Trent and show our support without risking health or safety. We will share details of a virtual service with loved ones as soon as possible. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to VITAS Community Connection.
