Joyce “Doody”, age 76, of Hamilton passed away on May 17, 2016. She was born on December 2, 1939 in Owenton, KY to Walter and Mae (nee Nash) Lancaster. On October 14, 1961 Joyce married Michael Lawrence. She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael; devoted and loving children, David (Monica) Lawrence and Sherry Dwaileebe; grandchildren, Michelle Lawrence, Rebecca (Luke) Hill, Adam (Samantha) Dwaileebe, and Hannah Dwaileebe. Joyce is also survived by her sister, Ellen “Jane” Schroder; sisters in law, Shirley Behlmer and Linda (Jerry) Gray; nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was the Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors of Chem-Ed Corporation for 15 years until her retirement in 2002. Visitation will be Saturday May 21, 2016 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at North Fairfield Baptist Church, 6853 Gilmore Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Matt McKay officiating.
